A lovely tribute to one who is gone but not forgotten. Seasons will continue to come and go. The sun will always rise and shine. But the world is just a shade less brilliant without her.

Virtual six, my talanted friend. I loved all of this and the repeated word: still. It drove the longing, ache, and sadness deeper with every verse. My condolences in your loss, dear Jess. Extra hugs too. Sending you my best today as always.

Jessica, I think this is one of the most beautiful verses I have read to date on Fanstory. If I had seven stars to give, they would be yours. Perfect flow and rhyming but it is the expression of grief that is exquisite.

Good morning dearest Jessica,
Oh my a poem that makes me cry early in the morning, here in cold Spain....
Of course I wonder who Kiki is? You obviously really loved this person...

A lovely tribute poem that seems to incorporate two definitions of the word Still-Again and Not Moving. I may have overlooked more but I liked its flow and would only suggest that there are more areas in the paragraphs where you can add the theme word Still into them either at the end or within even at the beginning without changing its flow. Thank you for Sharing your poem with us.

Jessica, this, IMHO, is a great elegy for a 24 year old soul gone too soon... Scribe has empathic and adamantly lamented her beloved Kiki...The poem
readily serves as a tribute and a catharsis. Bless all concerned parties...I
hope that I have not misstated your intention(s) for the heartfelt write. teafor2

A beautiful poem for your beloved one who has crossed into eternity. Your sister? Your love still glows while still trapped in time and space. But I believe in Heaven, we are all there as in eternity, there's only "now" so the missing and grieving is only on this side of eternity, where we notice the flow of the seasons which you so artistically conveyed in words.

Dearest Jess, I know how much you still miss her and I knew as soon as I started reading this beautiful tribute that it was for her. What a lovely expression of love for your sister. She would love this and tell you she is happy now, and how very much she cherishes you too. I understand what you mean when you say life and everything still goes on but you still miss and love her. Absolutely beautiful my sweet friend!
God bless, Sweetheart!
Love, Debi

Hi Jess
This is, of course, beautiful. As I've said, you write with an evident passion and elegance that's hard to match. I hope this isn't an authentic experience for you.
best, JohnC
