All I can say is "wow". This is one amazing lady and I need to check her portfolio. She has had a life of challenges yet she keeps going. Wonderful use of words to capture her spirit and essence.

Hi Elaine, I sure appreciate all your kind words for Liz and her poem, just as I know she will.
As much as the show, 77 Sunset Strip was a little before I was old enough to enjoy it, the song came right back to me. So I figured my parents and older siblings used to watch it. It was a fun theme to use for her.
Thank you so very much, my very dear friend.
Love, Debi

Debi, I enjoyed reading this. T Liz sounds like a strong woman. She didn't let the pain in her life ruin her. This poem is well written. I like the two videos at the end. Great job, my friend.

Also Brenda, I see that your birthday is coming up on the 9th, and I do have a lot of them going on right now, but am needing to maybe double two on a post. However, I have done that before and they turn out just as nice, as they still get their own. I wouldn't make one poem for two, but one post for two poems. If you would like me to do one for you, I would be happy to.
Just let me know, ok?

Thank you so much Debbie for thinking about my birthday. If you want to, you can double it on a post. You are truly a good friend. Love, Brenda

I remember this series. I also remember the popularity of its young star Eddie 'Cookie' Burns. He became one of the early breakout stars among the teeny boppers of that time. The girls wanted to date him, and the guys wanted to be him. A pattern that exists down to this day.
From your description of the birthday girl, I would imagine that she may have some adoring fans who might very well want to imitate her achievements.

Ah, Liz O'Neill is one of my fan friends from old. I almost said old friends but that doesn't fly nowadays and can be misinterpreted. LOL! This is a marvelous birthday tribute to Liz, my friend. I started singing the song, "77 Sunset Strip" as soon as I saw the title.

There you go again... giving us a standout performance for another one of your birthday poems. They read so easy, your cadence is spot on as are the rhymes,
Liz always gives a review that is positive and correct full where needed. She's lived a full life and I'm happy to share this day with her!
Excellent poetry, Debi...
You spoil us!

I remember she read and reviewed one of mine that was from 2016. I couldn't help but think, man she had to dig for that one. Lol. But her review was very detailed and sweet. Happy birthday, Liz!

Hi Jen, in answer to your question, a lot of people have the date on their profile so when I see that and if I have gotten to know them well enough I will ask. But since I can't review much, this is my thank you to those who still review me. Which I see your birthday isn't on yours. If you care to tell me I would love to put you on my list. You have always been such a gracious reviewer and friend. A lot of times people come and ask me too.
But I never do them without permission from them and I let them give me info they wouldn't mind me sharing with everyone. So please let me know. Ok?
I sure appreciate all your very kind words for Liz and her poem, just as I know she will.
Thank you so very much, my very dear friend.
