Oh Ginda, as many times as I do this, I hold my breath until I hear from the birthday person. I do put my heart into them, so I am always happy when the recipient loves them. It even has a couple six star ratings already so I guess that is good news when someone loves it that much.

But you are the one who counts most. Happy birthday with love my friend. Thanks for the cute poem in return. You are so sweet. I am also sending a link to your poem that you can send your family to view if you?d like.

One more thing I forgot to tell you, Ginda, is to make sure to read all the reviews that people write because everyone has birthday greetings for you, and I would hate to see you miss out on them. There are quite a few coming in already.

Ms. Marquette writes a tribute poem to a woman who deserves recognition. Like many millions of partners around the world, she must love and support an ailing partner, in her case her husband. Feeling the decline of one's powers, or witnessing this in someone beloved, is a very cruel part of existence.
Although this is nominally a Christmas poem, it is stronger because it does not resort to the comforts of religion for solace. It is we, you and I, who bear our own sufferings, and we can only speculate as to the motives of higher powers.
