Awe, Carol, thanks so much for such a sweet review for Jan on her birthday. I have been hearing from many newbies who didn't know her so I just went and added something in notes about her and Abby. Isn't that amazing that I was able to find a black cat with a girl swinging on a star. And if you saw Jan's obituary, you would see that woman looks just like her.

I think the Lord brought you that picture! I reviewed while at the dentist, then went for last minute shopping and now for the crazy cleaning and preparations as we have our oldest and her whole family over for the next two days!

I remember those days but we were younger then.ugh, I can't imagine. I worked hard all day on stuff I need to take and Im worn out. However I still make homemade stuffing, pies, gravy, etc My kids would just buy it so I do it every year. The stuffing they are afraid to try because mine is always perfect. Anyway, I hope the hubby is helping you. Tomorrow crash and let company help. Lol. Like you would do that. Have a blessed day, my sweet sis!

Lovely, Debi. (I assume Abby was Jan's cat?) Another sensitive tribute to a dear friend who left us far too soon.
Nice allusion to Jan's interest in astronomy, and to her care for animal friends. Also a nod to her kindness in going the second mile to help anyone in need - whatever that need may have been.
Love the Bing Crosby song - perfect for this tribute.

I like you are reminding us once again of someone we all miss greatilly. Jan was so much a part of so many of our lives and we alwys were interested in the things she wrote about. I know Jan knew we all loved. One of her themes were stories of children dying and being happy to go to Heaven.

Hi Rhonda, I sure appreciate your kind words for Jan's poem. I hope Jan can see how much she meant to everyone. I tried to tell her, but she thought people didn't like her. But I told her almost every day that I loved her, just like I love you my dear friend. Thanks again, my precious friend.

Hi Debi! Thanks for responding to all those posts, lol, and I?m sorry it?s taken me so long to get back to you! I love all the poems you write. They are all done in such love. Everyone gets to read them and the responses.
I dearly hope sweet Jan is able to as well. I?m sorry if she felt people didn?t like her, because we did. I?m so glad you would tell her you loved her. I add my love as well. I know I sent her hugs. 🥰 I add love. And I love you, too. Thanks for all you do, and all you do behind the scenes, like helping other writers.

It was never you. She always know youand a handful of others, but she took a lot of things to heart and I think it was because she had nobody outside of F.S. Unfortunately her only living sister wasn't very kind to her.
