I simply cannot comprehend how/why it would take so long for you to have to endure your neck pain before receiving the needed injection to alleviate said pain. That is just barbaric!
Keep doing what you are doing!

I am so sorry to hear that you cancelled your surgery to hopefully have another one instead. Pain is not a nice thing to be in a lot. I have dealt with pain a lot of my life due to the MS and other reasons. I will keep you in my prayers my friend! Stay strong and keep the good attitude! Blessings, Teri

MS is no fun, and you have got a lot on your plate as you deal with it.

Jesse I feel blessed to have friends like you in my life. We are only on this earth for what seems to be a second, but when we finally see Jesus we won't have any pain or sickness. We will all be healthy and be with the One who loves us so much. Hang in there my friend. I love you as my friend, but Jesus loves you so much more!!!

Jesse, you are a fighter, just like me. Many similarities. I live alone, but I have a care dog. Ever thought of that? Animals are more loyal than humans. I have carers to take me shopping and summer is on its way, so, off to the heated pool which loosens all the bad joints. I enjoy teaching new amputees how to grow in grace. Blessings, Kay (Aussie)

After losing Sunny, my kitty, I chose to be alone. Some day I will get another cat but for now, I enjoy my time alone.

So hard to find you can't have the injection for so long. No other pain clinic can do it? Nevertheless your positive attitude and light exercising for strength is admirable. Rest will also help the inflammation to subside, so your music, reading and writing are good choices. Thanks for this update. Take care, and look after yourself well.

I'm so sorry to hear about your neck pain, but am glad you are giving us an update. I didn't realize you canceled your knee surgery. I don't know how severe your neck pain is, but I thing you are a brave man to have the required surgery to correct it.

I have a spinal condition and the neurosurgeon said surgery would be too serious and complicated. I've resorted to meditation, acupuncture, chair exercises, therapeutic massage, and physical therapy.

I'm glad to know you will be able to have surgery. In the mean time, enjoy all the things you are doing, and before you know it, you will be standing tall, arms lifted upward, rejoicing.

Hello, Jesse! Thanks for posting and updating your friends and fans! I did not know you'd canceled your knee surgery, but can certainly understand your priorities!

Amidst the disappointment that (unbelievably!) they'd make you wait until January for an injection at the pain clinic, I applaud your ability to persevere and advocate for yourself while maintaining peace of mind, an ability to enjoy the world around you, and "becoming whole in body, mind, and spirit."

Hello Karenina.
Yes, I have made lemonade out of lemons.
It took a lot of hard work to think positively and do what was right for me.
It is part of the bureaucracy that makes me wait so long for an injection in my neck. My insurance company stands in the way! Oh well, I will continue to do what is necessary to fight the good fight!
