Six stars, Jesse, for your patience, perseverance, and positivity!
I simply cannot comprehend how/why it would take so long for you to have to endure your neck pain before receiving the needed injection to alleviate said pain. That is just barbaric!
Keep doing what you are doing!
So very proud of all of your accomplishments.
One edit:
Just laying (lying) back while listening to my favorite music or audiobook
Thank you for sharing!

Good morning, Diane!
Thanks for your kind support and the lovely six stars!
This has been a long journey, and I hope that it works out according to plans.
Thanks for the edit. You have been the only one to notice this, haha!
My post time is almost over so I will move it on to my next post for a learning experience.
Enjoy the rest of the week!

I am so sorry to hear that you cancelled your surgery to hopefully have another one instead. Pain is not a nice thing to be in a lot. I have dealt with pain a lot of my life due to the MS and other reasons. I will keep you in my prayers my friend! Stay strong and keep the good attitude! Blessings, Teri

Thanks, Teri, for the six stars!
I feel for your pain as you feel mine.
MS is no fun, and you have got a lot on your plate as you deal with it.
I appreciate your prayers and I will stay strong and healthy as long as I have friends such as you.
Take care.

Jesse I feel blessed to have friends like you in my life. We are only on this earth for what seems to be a second, but when we finally see Jesus we won't have any pain or sickness. We will all be healthy and be with the One who loves us so much. Hang in there my friend. I love you as my friend, but Jesus loves you so much more!!!

You are a good friend.
Good friends make all the difference.
Thank you for your prayers.

Jesse, you are a fighter, just like me. Many similarities. I live alone, but I have a care dog. Ever thought of that? Animals are more loyal than humans. I have carers to take me shopping and summer is on its way, so, off to the heated pool which loosens all the bad joints. I enjoy teaching new amputees how to grow in grace. Blessings, Kay (Aussie)

Thanks, Kay, for the six stars!
We are both fighters, yet you do it your way, and I do it my way.
After losing Sunny, my kitty, I chose to be alone. Some day I will get another cat but for now, I enjoy my time alone.
Have a wonderful weekend.
Jesse

The loss of Kitty isn't easy, the loss of any animal hurts like hell. Give yourself some time, if it is right you will have another furry friend. Blessings, Kay.

You are so right about that. I will know when the time is right.

So hard to find you can't have the injection for so long. No other pain clinic can do it? Nevertheless your positive attitude and light exercising for strength is admirable. Rest will also help the inflammation to subside, so your music, reading and writing are good choices. Thanks for this update. Take care, and look after yourself well.

Thanks, Wendy, for your supportive comments and good wishes for my success in getting my injection sooner.
Rest and relaxation are the best medicines I know to reduce the inflammation in my spine. Your positive reinforcement helps me so much, my friend.
Enjoy your weekend.

I'm so sorry to hear about your neck pain, but am glad you are giving us an update. I didn't realize you canceled your knee surgery. I don't know how severe your neck pain is, but I thing you are a brave man to have the required surgery to correct it.
I have a spinal condition and the neurosurgeon said surgery would be too serious and complicated. I've resorted to meditation, acupuncture, chair exercises, therapeutic massage, and physical therapy.
I'm glad to know you will be able to have surgery. In the mean time, enjoy all the things you are doing, and before you know it, you will be standing tall, arms lifted upward, rejoicing.

Hello, Jesse! Thanks for posting and updating your friends and fans! I did not know you'd canceled your knee surgery, but can certainly understand your priorities!
Amidst the disappointment that (unbelievably!) they'd make you wait until January for an injection at the pain clinic, I applaud your ability to persevere and advocate for yourself while maintaining peace of mind, an ability to enjoy the world around you, and "becoming whole in body, mind, and spirit."
I'm so sorry this has happened, Jesse.
I'm so proud of you for making lemonade out of lemons!

Hello Karenina.
Yes, I have made lemonade out of lemons.
It took a lot of hard work to think positively and do what was right for me.
It is part of the bureaucracy that makes me wait so long for an injection in my neck. My insurance company stands in the way! Oh well, I will continue to do what is necessary to fight the good fight!

Hello, Jesse, I'm sorry you have so much pain. I know things of pinching a muscle. I have one in my lower back that hurts so much I can't stand straight. But I'm not comparing, yours is more serious. I applaud you for having such positive attitude. I know it helps a lot. Well done, my friend. I wish you the best

Well, it is good to see that you find a productive way to spend your time and advocate for your needs. Many fall into despair from pain and uncertainty, but you find purpose and enjoy the joys of life and our beautiful world.
After hearing that the injection in my neck would not happen until next year in January or later,
_ It may help readers to know why the delay and/or where you are.
