This is encouraging and interesting. You build an argument well enough. Your punctuation is often excessive and distracting. I think if you polish this up, you'll have a really good entry here. The repetition of GOD CHOSE YOU was an interesting way to place a refrain into a prose piece. This addresses some important concerns, and I think it could be really good with a little work.

Thank you also for the kind words and the instructional words. It's embarrassing for me to tell you this, please don't tell anybody else ever ever ever, promise? I was a English major in my undergrad work. But, that has been so long ago and I have forgotten so much. To be honest I have always struggled with punctuation. The bottom line truth is, I don't know how to fix it. Oh well thank you for encouraging me lol.

I see the point you are trying to get across and I feel I've been chosed for some very minor tasks, and I would assume me all are, but then the Bible says "Many are called buy few are chosen." I've never quite known how to reconcile that. It's good entry for the Were you ever chosen Contest.

Thank you also for bringing out a challenging portion of scripture. I would like to tell you I know exactly what it means and I have the answer for you. But I don't, sorry. I am sure that God has the answer. When we get to heaven, if it's still a question for us, He will provide the answer.

He knew our name, he knew what color hair would be, he knew when we would be born, and when we would die. God has never failed me, and he never well. I have been through many struggles, but God has been there with me all the time, carrying me through the struggles, and making me a stronger person because of the trials. Patricia.

When I was growing up, my mother used to say that God had a job for each of us according to our talents. As an adult, I wondered what this was as it pertained to me. I now believe that my "job" was to raise two children who are kind and empathetic to others, and who dedicate much of their time to improving the lives of those less fortunate.
This is very powerful, and I can feel your passion and commitment to God in every sentence that you write.

Totally agree. He chose us, but not because of anything He could see in us. Chose us, in our very weakness, so we could lean on Him and display His strength. Very strong and powerful writing and best wishes for the contest.
