This is a nice tribute Debbie. You have a great flow and rhyme scheme. Nice photo choice to compliment your words as well. Very nicely done my friend.

This is an excellent tribute to your friend and illustrates her dedication to the craft of writing - a great role model for those striving to better hone their skills as it requires much fortitude and patience at times.
Truly nice tribute and I wouldn't change a thing!

Of course you had to write a poem, lol! You and Helen are both very good about writing tributes, birthday wishes, farewells, etc. Even though, my departure from posting is not meant to be a departure from the site.
I still remember the day we realized we were born on exactly the same day - I think I said something like, "Get out of town!" And now I have three reasons to visit "America's icebox" - my son lives there, I occasionally see a Twins-Red Sox series at Target Field, and now we have plans to one day finish a 5K together.
I have found some very special friends here on FS, and you all are very special to me. I always felt as though I was "safe" to write whatever moved me. Thanks for the shout-out, and I promise to stay in touch.
I'm not sure what the picture at the bottom of the poem is - I couldn't see it.

Awe thank you so much for the very sweet and kind review for my twin, excuse me, triplet Pam. She is a beautiful woman with a heart of gold, but I am a little bit worried about her, because she is not the chatty one of us. She is more reserved and doesn't always put herself out there like her fictional sister. We do have a common bond that is not at all common and I know I chat about it a lot, but is just because she means so much to me. I have been blessed....... I hope you know Sweetie that I am always here for you and my prayers will continue daily for your husband and for you and family. PLEASE let me know when treatment plans have been made and anything else you can share with me. You do mean a lot to me, so know that I ask purely out of love and concern. I am glad that you liked your poem.

I know you do, Debi:-) We won't know more until mid-March, but I will keep you informed. Thank you again for the special poem. The comments from readers have been lovely.

Pam is a good one. I knew her as a prose writer first, and then found out she could write poetry too. The problem for the rest of the writers here on FS is if she gets any smarter or better as a result of the course she is taking...nobody has a chance. Great tribute. Thank you for doing this. Terry.

Hey, maybe I should go with her. It would drive me crazy not to be writing, but yes it never hurts to improve on what we know or need to know better.
Thanks for the kind comments Terry. I appreciate it so much, my very dear friend.

Aww! Nice that you did this tribute to Pam Lonsdale (we have at least another Pam here). And I'm glad you mentioned Dr. Nad, too. I know Pam won't be away much but not as frequent so thanks for sharing!

I sounds like you share your birthday with a couple of Fanstory friends here and this is a tribute to them both. Is it your birthday today? If so I wish you happy birthday Debi, love Dolly x

Thanks Hon, but not a birthday greeting, but wishing Pam Lonsdale the best as she ventures out and tries new things to even better her writing.
I appreciate your kind comments and am hoping that you can see that I was really feeling the beat and meter in this one. I just went with the heartbeat and it made such a difference, I hope you like it. Thanks again, to another great friend, Dolly!

It is amazing the things we share and learn about one another during reviews. I'm glad you wrote a farewell poem to Pam saying things I would have wanted to say but am not a poet. She is an awesome writer and I enjoyed her well written, interesting short stories. She will be missed.

Is Pam leaving for awhile Debi? She's been on here for an age, what will we do without her, she never writes anything but great posts, this is beautifully written, and it's wonderful that you would write a great tribute to her. Well done, Debi, blessings Roy

Thank you Roy. She is such a special woman. I also thought that Pam had been on here longer, but I guess it will be a year for her on March 1st.
Thankfully she is still going to pop in now and then. I don?t think she will be writing, but may review here and there. So we not only have been on this earth the same amount of days, we have been on FS the same. Actually I joined in August 2021, but watched for about six months and wrote my first post in March. Thanks for such a caring and kind review. You are another person that am so happy didn?t leave. I believe that God needs you here to continue inspiring and touching lives and be a beacon for Jesus Christ, our Savior. On Sunday nights we watch a Church program called Cowboy Church. It is so down to earth, but he follows the Truth and the Word.
Last night he talked about how we can do many good works, donate money, and spread the word, but if we do it without Love, then it. means nothing.
I thought of you right away, how all you do is with love for others.
I think I also have a gift to see and feel in others hearts, and feel it is more authentic when you can only see the soul, and not the physical.
And I know that I tell you this always, but that is because I feel it so strongly, that you are one of the chosen ones. We are so thankful to have you, my very dear friend!!

You have been a cleansing stream, and breath of fresh air since you have been here Debi, thank you for your inspiring presence and words of healing, Roy

How fun to find someone who has the same interests and then to find out she also shares your same date of birth.
This was fun to read and I'm sure we will miss Pam as she takes her sabbatical from the site. Let's hope it is short.

That was a beautiful tribute to Pam Lonsdale, Debi. I know I will miss her frequent posts, but I'm happy for her that she plans to try to better herself and improve her craft that is already quite wonderful.
What a cool coincidence that two such talented poets and writers as you and Pam share the same birthday. FanStory is truly blessed to have you both as contributors. Jim
