Debi - it's worth a six, this beautiful poem of yours, and I am sorry not to have any left. You write from an overflowing heart, and although your year has not been an easy one, your eternal perspective and shining faith are uplifting and encouraging. Lovely writing. Well done.

Hi Went dy! First let me apologize for this being so late. I got into the spirit with this one and then had to write a couple more for Christmas. It's truly such a joyful time of year. Thank you so much your very kind words for my poem of Joy. I wrote this for the God in our life club and it's truly how it feels after being born again, as of course you know. I appreciate all your lovely comments and I wish you the Merriest Christmas ever, my very dear friend. Thanks again

Christmas can be a difficult time for many. I appreciate how you you acknowledge that. A lovely heartfelt message at Christmas time reminding us that there is a way to have true hope and to find joy in this season because God sent his son for us. I t doesn't mean it will all be ok and happy for some but true joy is when our spirit rests in the knowing that we have all we need in Christ. A beautiful poem. Merry Christmas to you and your family! I read too in your profile about the poems you wrote for each of them. That is so special!

Thank you for writing this dear Debi, and the challenge you've thrown out, may God Grant you great increase, of course we can but plant seeds, perhaps water. This is very like the one who holds great hope for others, so beautifully and tantalisingly written with the love and grace God has planted in your heart, beautifully written My friend, blessings Roy

Roy, as always, you are very kind and I appreciate your thoughtful words so very much. I am so appreciative of your kindness and gracious six stars.
One of your songs on your CD has been playing in my head over and over, and doesn't want to leave me, but it's because it is my favorite and I can't help but singing along. I truly am enjoying the instrumental one too.
I think I may have told you part of that, but is certainly so great, it's worth mentioning again!
-
I wonder which one? And the flautist is my daughter too, the pianist is a brilliant friend, Tina, the harpist is a guy called Kim Van Dokum. Backing singers, Abby and Alicia
-
Oh I love hearing who are also on it. I will listen to it again, and I will tell you what I think the title of it might be..
I can tell you of one that I just remembered. I think it's called, "Shine on us." I love this one too. Lately I wake up even and I'll be singing them in my head. I won't even realize it until a lil while later.
😊

Hahaha Roy, I didn't even get to my DVD player to play your music, and I stopped and thought, its already there. I was singing along with it in my head, without even realizing it. I have been doing that with this beautiful music since I received it. So the one that I love the best, yet I love them all. It is
"Oh How Wonderfully Made We are." I love that one, but they are all so beautiful. I could listen to you sing for hours, as you have such a soothing voice. And the children are remarkable too.
I think it is so great that you have so many wonderful family members and friends that worked with you on this too. I feel so blessed to be enjoying this so much!!
-
That?s the children?s album one Debi, number 2 on the album, Lighthouse. I once had ambitions, but?.sigh.
-
Ok, I have one CD that is you and the kids. Then one with all instrumental. Is there one without the kids and just you?
-
Ah yes, the backing CD. That mirrors the songs sung, it was meant for someone else to sing Debi,
-
Lol, you know me, not too shy to sing with you and the others or put the instrumentals on and sing to that. Now that I know all the words. I've actually written a few songs years ago, praising our God! I'm so thankful for your friendship!!

Me too Debi

This is a good Christmas poem. The text is a great size. The message is clearly stated, and it expresses the sentiments shared by many. Personally, I find the holidays depressing. However, that isn't the theme of your poem. It's a joyful occasion when most Christians celebrate the birth of Christ. The visual fits well. Have a Merry Christmas and continued blessings in 2023!

Dolly, I am so sorry that this is so late. I got carried away with this one and writing others in the spirit of Christmas. So I found myself so backed up with thank you messages. Also my PT is everyday and takes so much stamina, but I am thankful for it. I truly appreciate your lovely comments for my poem, as you always seem to bring me joy.
You are so kind, my lovely friend. Love, Debi

Absolutely true and a very meaningful advice. I am reminded of a snippet I read long time back .There is a line in the poem Wasteland' by TS Elliot.
'who is the third who always walks beside you' If we have faith we can sense His presence by our side. Praying for a meaningful new year..
Love and Hugs.Santha.
