I loved this story! Reminds me a bit of Arsenic and Old Lace! Older women in horror is something I've found is so underdone and I would love to see more of it! What a wonderful story!

This is a great story for the contest, I'm also signed up, but there doesn't seem much point competing against this marvel. Nevertheless, I'm an honest person and I don't want to see you eliminated on a technicality. Your opening words have to match those of the prompt exactly. Only the punctuation can be adjusted. I just loved this story. Excellent writing and character development. It is great that two older women write an interesting book and then are charged with murder in real life. This would make a good movie. I also like how this is about senior citizens living in a retirement community.
