Thanks for the laughs as your good-night gift to me. Those times are quickly catching up with us, but only come when we can no longer run fast enough to leave them in our dust.

Carol, you offer great wisdom in your review! Thank you for reading. Terry.
Comment from Debi Pick Marquette
Thanks Terry, this was so much fun! I smiled or laughed at all of these. However Now I can't quit singing, 'Wooly Bully, Wooly Bully, Wooly Billy!' I will have to remember all of these for someday when I get old. Of course I can't be there yet!!
I laughed at the Viagra reservation list. And thought the grandpa being married to grandma and missing her so much reminds me of you. Altho you are still a spring chicken! So let's just watch them get older and stay in denial. Ok?
Great story my awesome friend!

Debi, you are much younger and hopefully fully repaired and ready to go for many more years. Thank you for reading, I am glad you enjoyed my little stories. Terry.

Lol, I sure do know what it feels like to have your body feel old. But the man who writes the fun stories, is still young as a school boy. 😊

This is an interesting kind of talk with the grandparents and the little girl has learned a lot from them. Excellent work! No mistakes found in your poem. Interesting! Thank you for sharing!

Terrific concept. Good work.
Has anyone ever used the term 'cantankerous' around you? lol
reminds me of thew old guy who insisted he didn't have a hearing problem. Everyone just needed to talk loud, slow, and clearly.
Best wishes.

You really gave this a lot of time, didn't you? Either that or I had this conversation with someone, sometime, either recently or too long ago too remember. Well done.

What a sweet series of mini conversations from the rocking chair. Each captures a moment in time that may be remembered and if not remembered enjoyed in the present. I like how you write on relatable topics that show aspects of our humanity. Your writing reveals we are more alike than different. Well-done!

My wife and I are still laughing about all the things which is the majority that we can relate to. You sir are one funny guy. The ring of truth is found in almost every thing you wrote. There are some we do not do, but we recognize that someone probably is going through it, will go through it, or has already gone through it. Very good write my friend.

I'm probably out of sixes now and it's all because of you. But so worth it. I loved these vignettes. Each had a unique flavor and some were sad and some made me laugh out loud. Another winner. Gretchen

I am all smiles and giggles! We are lucky to be alive and in pretty good health. A friend whose father asked if Medicare paid for Viagra. His dad was 90 and had found a new friend at the nursing home. You had a very entertaining post.

Sarah, thank you for reading my little stories. I am glad you enjoyed them. Terry.
Comment from Jannypan (Jan)
I enjoyed reading your vignettes, Terry. Each individual one was
fun in its own way. In a brief amount of space, you described them
well. I could see everything you wrote. I like the questions the young
child asked intermittently. Your words were well thought out, there
was smooth flow, and it was fun to read this.
Thanks for sharing, Jan
