I have enjoyed all your interviews on FS - including this one, and your choice of subjects was excellent - including this one. It would be fun for others to do similar. Best wishes for your foray into fiction writing!

Wendy, thank you for reading and reviewing, Terry.

Terry, it's 2AM and I'm laughing so hard at your hilarious interview, that now I am wide awake. This has to be your best yet! I knew it had to be you. And I believe you should have taken over for Johnny Carson or Jay Leno. Your comedy act is brilliant! I love how you can laugh at yourself and say the things nobody else in their right mind would. You are just too well loved.
A part of me is sad that you are done with the interviews. I have learned some valuable things, yet a few things that I have always done in my poetry for years is to let it brew for a while, check it and stir it every once in a while until it's done.
And the other is to end my more comical poems in a twist, or I always called it a little surprise. I've done that for years. Sometimes I even plan my ending before the beginning and it usually comes together. Those were the two tips that I would give if helping a newcomer. I look forward to anything you write, as they are great. And so are you my dear friend. I may have to copy this and save it for whenever I need a laugh. Thanks Terry for doing such a wonderful job on the interviews or your stories. Good luck with your fiction and Please picture this as I am giving you a standing ovation and yelling Bravo my friend Bravo! Take a bow!

Debi, thank you for the six stars and your very kind review. That third eye of yours did predict correctly! I am delighted you enjoyed the interviews. Now, find someone you want to interview and enter the contest. Terry.

Only a good writer and interviewer with hubris would do this! LOL Nah, I'm kidding. This is a clever way to end you reign as interviewer for FS Writers. You are spreading the wealth to others now. Thank you again for my interview and for all the other interviews. You will be a tough act to follow.

Sandra, thank you for the six stars! I did need an exit strategy. I do hope folks will sign up for the contest and and interview someone. Thank you for all your time. Terry.

You are most welcome.

I didn't see exactly how you could interview yourself, and wondered if like me you have voices in your head to help you. It would seem not, but you did a great job, even without. For once I actually feel a six star rating is merited - I never did before as I couldn't work out how to rate an interviewer for the interviewee's role. I think your idea of a contest is pure genius. I'm already planning a list of poor victims. Thanks for all the time you have given over to this labour. Kate xx

So, my husband won the bet.
Much to his delight (she said sarcastically) I frequently amuse my spouse with little bits about Fanstory...
A review I enjoyed, an interesting interview, etc.
After reading your interview with Sandra I saw you'd replied in an answer to a review that you had one more interview to post...with a reluctant jerk.
(I can be slow on the uptake)
So! I mentioned to my husband that it was MOST uncharacteristic of this "Terry guy" to bad mouth anyone!
(Being the same insecure human I am I opined perhaps you'd be messaging me, the reluctant jerk...and I was bracing myself...)
My husband (aka "Ed") just chuckled and said:
" Dollars to donuts he's going to post an interview with himself..."
(And this is why one should always marry UP, btw!)
I thought dang...and duh... Why didn't I think of that?
Not wanting to concede the win, I thought perhaps you were going to come up with some "make believe" member and do a whole satirical piece...
(I told you I had two guesses!)
I'd like to go on record as confiding my husband's prediction to Debi, just for laughs (and validation purposes!)
Yahoo!
Kudos to my husband (for whom I now have to make French Toast in the morning)--
And kudos to YOU!
All your interviews have been intetesting, and this one is satirical, self-deprecating, and a hoot!
Hope you enjoyed that Screwdriver!
Have fun with your new writing adventures...
and thanks for the ride!

Karenina, thank you for the six stars! I do hope for husband enjoys the French toast. Now, its your turn to interview someone. Maybe one the two new members, Thomas or the young nurse Liz, they are budding poets. Terry.
Comment from Jay Squires
There was more wisdom in this interview than in any of the others. Wisdom and humorous self-deprecation ... a fine combination. We will miss the special care that you put into each of your interviews. But I understand the need to free up more time for your own writing. Thank you for all you do, and the fun way you have of doing it.

Jay, thank you for the six stars! It was a good run of interviews, and I got to rub shoulders with some of the best. Thanks for your help. Terry.

Hi Terry,
This was a fun read. I think it's great did you did a sort of follow-up here on what you got out of conducting the interviews (besides all the reviews and bump in the ratings! lol)
I also think the competition is interesting, as I'm not sure how much folk actually realise how much work can go into prepping for a good interview.
All the best

Gareth, thank you for the kind review. I told you last week I had an exit strategy, If people do some interviews, then it worked. Terry.
Comment from Dolly'sPoems
Uniquely here by interviewing yourself you reveals a little about your personality Terry and I enjoyed your questions and answers. It is a pity that your teachers had little faith in you and spoke so coldly about your future. You asked some harsh and intimate questions of yourself here and it is a pity that series has finished, but I enjoyed it whilst it lasted, well done, love Dolly x

Dolly, thank you for your very kind review. I know you are a wonderful poet, but think about trying your hand at an interview, I for one would be interested in reading it. Terry.
