I think to pull a killer whale's tooth and be a small child would be something of an act of extreme bravery and to breath underwater for kids would be hard, even in hardening bubbles. Another brilliant kid's poem my friend Sandra, these are so good, blessings Roy

Yes, these children are very brave, Roy, but are they strong enough to pull the tooth out? Hmm. Thank you, dear friend, for reading part 2. I hope you will join me for part three. Warm hugs, my wonderful friend. Sandra xxx

Hello Sandra!
What a joy to read!
So lyrical and just plain FUN!
Robert's Cube 16 format lends itself very well to this children's poem.
Love the premise and presentation!
Kudos!

The queen is smart about the bubbles, but why don't the children use scuba gear. Odi has a good question about the whale doing this a trap to have a meal. Maybe scuba gear could stop that. But then it would be less of a fantasy tale. Can't wait to see what happens next. I like all the illustations.

I did think of scuba gear, but that wasn't quite as magical. The bubbles were already there, and why not use them? LOL. I know in real-life they would pop, but this isn't real-life! That is the amazing thing about fantasy, everything is possible! Thank you so much, dear Joan, for this lovely review. The next part will be coming soon. Warm hugs, my friend. :)) Sandra xxx

Couldn't they have waved a magic wand to give them scuba gear. The bubbles were a good idea though.
    You're very welcome, Sandra.

Sandra, This is so nice and so well written. I know those grandchildren will love either reading this or having it read to them. You used great descriptive words and I love the Cube form you have chose to write it in. The art work is great too. Thank you for sharing with us. love and blessings, Teri

Thank you so much, Teri! What a really lovely review. I told Robert when he first introduced the cube 16, that it would be perfect for a story I had in mind. 'Scout and her Magical Unicorn' and it was. I'm hoping this one will catch the children's imaginations, too. I'm delighted you enjoyed this one. Thank you so much for the sixth gold star, my friend. I really appreciate that. I replied to your message, but it went so fast, I don't know if it actually did or was deleted. Can you let me know if you got it? Thanks again, Teri. Warm hugs, my friend. :)) Sandra xx

I did get it and responded, but I will tell you I will be looking into that. I love that story. I want to check in to more of your children's work too. I know you are great at everything you write I just don't read books like I used to. I have gone to the books on CD to listen to when I get ready for bed. lol Can you tell I am 65 now and not a spring chicken anymore! lol Thank you so much! love, Teri

Pulling the tooth can be hard enough but knowing you might have climb inside the mouth would be very alarming. However, kids usually don't have too much fear and given the right kid I could see them doing it. I can't wait to see if they are able to pull it out.

I like to read children stories, even if I am well over childhood. Still, I think in all of us, no matter at what age there is that glimpse of childhood...it reminds me of reading to my granddaughter, now in college...Reading to her those magical stories brought us wonder.

This is a great continuation chapter of the poem/coloring book, Sandra. It definitely sounds like the mermaid has met the first challenge of getting Poppy and Odi's ability to breathe under water. Now she just has to get the children to agree. I really enjoy this adventure, it is very well done. The story has a wonderful flow and rhyme. Great job. Blessings, hugs and smiles.

You are so welcome Sandra. I for sure would not trust being swallowed by a whale. Yuk, being whale food is nasty. Blessings.
