An apt description of Fog. It quietly wraps itself around everything so that you cannot see where you're going. It rolls over everything and hushes the atmosphere. Good presentation.

Loved this, Yvonne! Yours and Carl Sandburg's poem about fog "on little cat feet" are probably my two favorite poems on fog! Thanks for sharing it here, too!

This is very nice and well worded. It could also refer to thoughts which are often foggy and falling into clefts (great word selection) and crannies. Good accompanying graphic as well. Well done.

This poem conjures up a great visual feeling and image of fog using precise words for each action of fog as if it had the intelligence of a great and mysterious mind. giovanni

Hello Yvonne. While reading the poem, I wondered what I was listening to. It turns out I was listening to fog. That is an excellent metaphor as well as a perfect description of how fog lives and where it goes. It's a very interesting poem.

Love the mystery and fantasy elements of this piece. I love fog; except when I'm on top of a mountain after a hike and really wanted to see the view below! Hope you went well with the assignment, though I'm sure you did!

-Nice image and
presentation.
-I like your poem
very much.
-It flows well with
effective imagery and
alliteration. I am guessing
that was part of the assignment.
-I really like the verse with
"Ethereal, yet bold..." and
the ending is excellent, too.
-Good job with the poem.

Thank you. We had to use rhyme and rhythm. I need to put that in my notes. I'm so glad you like it.

You are very welcome. I also thought it might have had to be about a thing described like a person. I give you an A+ for the assignment!

This is very nice, Yvonne. Your free verse is a good description of fog. It's mysterious and stealthy as it wends its way through every cleft and cranny. Marilyn
