This is a very well-done Abecdarian Poem, with an interesting and unique theme, and one which gives you logical ways of using the persnickety "X" and "Z." Your poem flows smoothly and your rhymes and near-rhymes work well. You make the relationship between dragon and rider seem real and believable, in much the same way that no one who watched "Game of Thrones" challenged the relationship between Daenerys and her dragons. I wish you luck in the vote.

My sincerest 'thanks', Michele, for this most awesome and encouraging review! I must confess, though, I truly and honestly have never seen an episode of Game of Thrones... it's on the list for when 'life slows down' because it always sounds so interesting when folks are talking about it!! :) Thank you for brightening the week over here with those lovely stars! :)

It's my pleasure. I'm very strict with myself about giving out six-star ratings, as I really want them to mean something, but I truly felt this deserved it.
A far as "Game of Thrones," it's definitely worth watching. Yes, it's full of very graphic violence, as well as language and nudity, but all of that is relevant to the story and the characters. None of it is gratuitous. The acting is impeccable. If you get the chance, I'd suggest you read the books too. I read and loved all of the books before I ever watched the show. They're wonderfully written.

I will definitely do that - thank you! I am a BIG advocate of reading books before seeing movies/series ESPECIALLY when it comes to fantasy and sci-fi .... there's always nuances that you just can't catch from the screen, ya know? ;) :) Thank you again! ;)

I agree with you totally. I'd much rather read a book first and see the author's intention, than see the movie first and assume that the usually mangled presentation was what the author intended. Many Stephen King stories are much better on paper, although there are some exceptions.
I disagreed with most of the "Game of Thrones" casting when it was first announced as, with just a couple of exceptions, they didn't seem true to the characters as described in the books. However, the actors did such an excellent job of making the characters their own that it took me only a couple of episodes to stop questioning the casting choices.

This meets the contest requirements splendidly as you use each letter of the alphabet in the appropriate sequence. The content is clever as you tell a complete story in poetic form. Good luck in the voting and thank you very much for sharing it.

Abecedarian poems are difficult to write. Good job on this accomplishment. I like the concept. Your word choice is descriptive and vivid. It allows the reader to create images in their minds. Great Job.

Your poem is so good. Even though dragons are a thing of the past, and probably walked this earth way before our time, they sure can bring some excellent writing to read in poetry and stories.

This is a fantastic posting. The ABC poems are so difficult for me and I truly appreciate reading one so well done. Especially one with a picture helping to enhance the reader's perception. I really love the concluding line. :-)

Writing an Abecdarian can be difficult. Believe me, you, I just wrote one. Well done. I love "dragons" and "Game of Thrones", lol! Excellent job! The artwork paired well with the theme of the poem. I found no grammatical issues. Best wishes!

I ordinarily do not dive into the fantasy world, it not being my favorite genre, but you have done a remarkable job with this piece! The overall effect with the visual is stunning. Your poem is exceptional, following through flawlessly through the alphabet and this is one I would shower with stars if I could. I mentioned to one other poet in a review, this could almost be made into a movie. THIS one could also. Great job!

This is the second poem in this category I have read. Yours is the best. t's a tough style. I would never attempt it. Good luck in the voting booth. I think there are going to be a lot of entries.
