Hi damommy,
I love this entry to the club's challenge for the bridge picture not only is the picture stunning but so are your words that accompany it! I love the thought out way that you wrote the font, the color of the background of your box as well as the short wording to this entry. It is very stylish. Quite sleek too! Even Mystic! Very Cool! Cheers, Fonda

What lies in wait,
lurking
in the circling
miasma
of gray vapor?
A beautiful, sad picture put in front of everyone who would review it. We all have to look deeper and admire that poem. Terry

Ooh, spooky, mystical and good. Is this the actual bridge? I think I just read about another haunted bridge in the panhandle of Florida here on FanStory. I don't believe in ghosts per se, maybe Jacob Marley and his crew. It was fun reading your poem though.
All my best,
Sal :+)

No, it's a bridge I made up. I'm glad you found it spooky, mystical, and good. Thank you!

Cheers, Damommy;
>How entertainingly delightful and mystically mesmerizing, the picture that is in the uniformed relativity of the words that correlate with it.
>I like the compositional colors and the font which worked really well, as the flowing font shows the swirling form as it rolls over the San Francisco bridge, if that's what it is?
>I actually have a moving picture, as my wife was driving, of the San Francisco bridges real crossing it. It's very similar to the still picture above.
< Fantastic job, Damommy, take care and have a good one especially with all those poetic critics out there just waiting to give you a six star. Chuckle!

It's a bridge I made up. If it resembles a real bridge, it's merely by chance. What a great moving picture you have crossing the SF bridge. Thank you for a great review.

You're very welcome,Damommy, Yes I do have a good shot of it if I can get it on a website I'd show it to everyone. It's weird how the pylons go by so quickly but the distance moved slow.
> Take care and have a good one.

I'll make it into an MP4 so I can put it into YouTube And sharing it with you here and fan story. It's just changing the ending prefix from MPEG to an MP4.

With all the mist, that doesn't look like a good place to be. This sounds like a very mysterious bridge, if those who ventured into it never returned. Maybe they were overcome with a desire to jump. Your words are well chosen to create a spooky atmosphere. What is waiting out there? judi

We'll never know unless we cross the bridge. Are you willing to take the chance? Thank you for a great review.

You're very welcome. I don't think I'd take a chance. judi

Me, either. 8-)

Super free verse poem, Yvonne! I love how you left it open-ended and you allow how the reader to imagine the meaning of the bridge. It speaks to me about that final bridge of death.

I love hearing what each person 'sees' in my poem. Thank you for a great review.

We reach heaven, crossing all such bridges, mist, fog or cloud, vapour or colour; nothing can stop, when inner soul energy and faith continue, mystery unveils; well said, well done. Keep Writing Inspire Changing! -- DR ALCREATOR

A very well-written free verse poem about the mystic bridge where we cannot see the otherside clearly from where we are and will be surprised when we get to the other side.

I like the mysterious feel of the bridge of which you write. Good job answering the challenge. May your bridge to next week this weekend be bright and you arrive on the other side. Patricia

I think this is a very good entry for the 'write about a bridge' challenge.
You've certainly captured the mystery inspired by the picture.
Well done.
