Wow, this rhyming alliterisen is a real tongue twister when you try to read it out loud especially the first four lines. They do paint an image of the "swirling swallows ... in tumbling turning flutt'rings flight." The end rhymes all work and fit the rhyming pattern. Well done.

Congratulations on your win.

I haven't previously seen this form, but I think you've done a great job of using the stringent requirements to your advantage. And what a subject you chose - we have many swallows here and their tumbling, twirling flight is their trademark.

I'm not sure that apostrophe in the last line is in the right place, but it does nothing to weaken this special effort.

Thanks Steve for great review, I couldn't decide if it was possessive or plural, so I took the former, blessings, Roy.

Loved the rhyming scheme and alliteration. Imagery was excellent throughout. I also enjoyed the photo. Felt it really worked well with your words. Great job.

Simply marvelous! I did not get to vote in this contest as I will not vote if I don't have the time to read and review all the entries and it has been a busy week for me. This is most exceptional in all ways. It met the contest requirements beautifully but the content is delightful and wonderfully enchanting. I love watching the birds and you have described these lovely little creatures splendidly with alliterative mastery - smooth and soothing not at all forced. It certainly deserves all these ribbons and then some. Thank you very much for sharing it.

yes, I can see why you may have won this contest... alliteration abound that took flight within dizzy spells of swirling-soaring sights. A very clever and imaginative construction... congratulations for your deserved win.

Hey I like this poem very much, and I think the picture is perfect. A very real message told with a small amount of wording. Swallows are truly quite marvelous to watch.

Cluttering clowns pluck their plight is a fun line with a humorous feel to it. I like your use of words, it makes this a fun poem to read out loud. Your words create a clear scene of nature. This is a challenging form to write and you did an excellent job here.
