Hi Dean Kuch,
THat brings tears to the eyes just thinking about what it would feel like to encounter something like this.
Your tale contains an interesting concept of a female vigilante posing and living as a man but emerging at night as a 'hooker' just so she can take out rapists.
I'm not sure such a device can r could work in all circumstances ...

Thanks so much for reading & reviewing this one for me, Patrick, and I believe you are right. It might be used as a weapon by some vindictive, jilted women wanting to get even with someone that wronged them.
Thanks so much again, my friend!

After a quick read of this story I came to the conclusion that this is a good yet very disturbing post. I am glad you left the warnings as I feel ill if I has read it slowly.

Feeling ill...I take that as an immense compliment, Dusty. After all, what good is a horror story if it doesn't elicit feelings of dread, sickness and terror?
I appreciate the fantastic review, my friend.

You know this will win you the contest for being a bit of a insane thought with that contraption insert.

Hi Dean my opinion of the Rapex device
I don't really know
I did a bid of research and read that-
Note:
several years after the Rape-aXe anti-rape condom was promoted on the Internet and announced as about to go into production, we've found no evidence that it has ever been marketed to the public nor any indication about if or when it will be made available for purchase. (CNN reported in 2010 that Ehlers planned to distribute 30,000 of the devices in South Africa during the upcoming World Cup football matches and hoped to make them available for sale after a "trial period," but we have found no indication that the product has ever been released to vendors.)

But let me say Dean you indeed made an eye opener horror story using a woman to incapacitate a man with pain using this tearing off condom device

Hey, thanks for sharing your thoughts with me about this story, Gert. I really appreciate that!
Of course, my story is purely fiction, just my wild imagination asking the question..."what if?" If it were available, would it be used as a weapon? I believe, in some cases, that it would.
That's cool you researched the device. Pretty scary, from a man's perspective. OUCH!

You are welcome Dean

I did some research on this Rapex device before reviewing. It is not available to purchase at this point. It is an interesting concept, however. I can see where this would be a bigger deal where rape is more prevalent. Those that have committed this crime or are even thinking about this crime deserve a good Rapex-ing. I can also see where there could be some very bad outcomes for men that truly don't deserve a Rapex treatment. Perhaps insert finger before Mr. Happy to "clear" the area before entering!
Anyway, your story is well penned. You bring up an interesting thought and an interesting product.

Thanks a million, Green Lake Girl, I appreciate the thoughtful comments.
Of course, I realize this story is purely fictional, just my crazy musings concerning..."what if?" If the device were available, would it be used by some in a vindictive manner? I think we'll see this device available to all, one day. It might not be as far off as we'd like to think.
Thanks so much again for weighing in on this one for me!

Wow... This story could easily be developed into a novel (though not by me).
Story was well detailed and had me hooked from the beginning. Honestly I skipped towards the end and after reading and bring fully satisfied, I went back and continued with the entire story. Marvelous.
Very creative, Sam/Samantha charector. I wish I had a six star to award for this posting. I didn't realize I used them all already.
Great stuff, enjoyed the story... John

Ha ha, no problem, John. I use my "SIXERS" up far too soon, myself! The fact that you enjoyed the story is reward enough for me, my friend. I'm glad you felt compelled to go back and read the entire piece. That means a lot, I realize it's rather lengthy.
I appreciate it, and I'm honored by your kind review.

A wonderfully written piece. I would say an attention grabber that grasps the readers' interest - almost literally. This style really held my attention. Don't be surprised if others start copying it. The first good thing about it, the visuals break the monotony of the read (not that this applies to your piece). But even if it were, the drabness of a write will definitely be lessened. Secondly, it distracts from the length of the article for it looks like one is reading a different topic.
The story is riveting in that there are small surprising twists. I had a mental image of watching a mini series.
Now in your Author Notes: It would be good if the device is widely available. It would be good to know that it really "takes a bite." When you say views on this device are varied and mixed, could one imagine if some rights group howl a protest shouting it violates human(men's) rights? I would laugh out loud!
Again, thanks for sharing. This is a social issue that is timely and not to be ignored.

Thanks for the fabulous review, Dennis, I am humbled and very grateful. You have hit on my reasons for including pictures in my longer posts, and you are dead-on. I realize that there are too many distractions today, other things folks can do to occupy their valuable time. So, I attempt to immerse my readers into the story, make them feel almost as if they were a part of it. I'm very happy to hear that you liked the style.
Best wishes to you, my friend.
And thanks again!

I read this last night and either my computer or the website was having a snit b/c it simply would not let me leave a review. So, I'm back here again to see if the snit fit is over, and it seems to be.
This was very good, Dean. You got me good with Samantha being Sam Benton. I never saw it coming, but I sure loved it - great twist. The world needs more 'Molly the Mangler' types out there, chasing down offenders and inflicting a 'just' punishment! I like the idea of Rapex condoms. What an interesting concept. All women need to be armed with such a magnificent weapon.
Overall, an excellent piece. Good luck in the contest. May the best man (or woman [tee-hee]) win! Nice to know the competition . . . ;o)

Thanks a bunch, Suzanne, I always look forward to hearing your viewpoints, and I value your opinions immensely.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts with me on this controversial device, as well. I'm inclined to agree with you!

With my luck, I'd put the darn thing in backwards and kill myself. But they might work for women who expect to be raped, but then, who does?
This is a verrrry good entry. Great idea for Sam to dress as a man so no one could ever suspect her. Love it!

The photo's by itself are already scary. Your story tells about a killing prostitute, somebody wants to kill her. Someone else saves her. I liked it, it's got a fair speed in it.

this is very well written, dean, i enjoyed reading this and your author notes. i think the device is a good idea except some women may use it on their husbands or their husbands could make them wear it to prevent affairs. good luck in the contest

Yeah, I think that is one of the main reasons that the device hasn't made it to the States just yet. Many fear that it might be used to get even...
Thanks for an outstanding review, sweetwoodjax!
