Yeah, the council flat didn't send a little warning signal?
Book, huh? That might be the biggest nonsense of all.

Congratulations for winning!
Your poem fulfilled the brief perfectly. It was funny nonsense at its best. Like the fact that you placed it on the moon and the whatchamacallit is just cute.
It flows really nice and makes you smile, giving you a little lift. Great job.

Your poem is filled with nonsense, "With a moon-dog, an alien, Grumpy's old mother, a whatchamacallit, a something or other." LOL! Cute! Children are attracted by those kinds of images, as evidenced by Dr. Seusse's popularity. I enjoyed all the other funny ideas. Good luck in the contest, steveh. - Ah, I just spotted the winner's ribbon. Congratulations! Well done.

This has simply got to be a winner. It is delightfully full of sparkling imagery, superb rhyme and rhythm. It is the colourful imagination that has made this work memorable and a perfect competition entry for the brief. Very impressive.
Kindest of regards,

A winner indeed, although by the slimmest of margins over rosehill's wonderful tale.

Oh how magical! I love nonsense poems, especially those with such great cadence and rhymes. You had me laughing all the way through as I read aloud.
...and my tongue only got tied once! LOL
Great! Good luck - Cally :)

If this one don't win, then the whole thing is rigged. Talking about nonsense, you win hands down in my book. I shall look for it in the booth.
