Wow what a testimony to your precious Mother. God has truly blessed you. There is something cool about walking in the dark that binds kids. You had to follow and faith was being generated because we must follow a parent God who we love. Thank you

Thanks so much for your great review. Sometimes the things we did without question can seem so remarkable to others.
We had no car and the walk was 4kms (unless we got a lift and there were 5 of us)and sometimes we caught a cab home or else we
walked all or part way home as well.

Beautiful poem about a mother teaching her children about the love of God and the importance of the church body of Christ and the need to pray.

You have good rhyme and rhythm in this poem. However, I think it would read easier if you broke it up into stanza's of about 4 lines each. I didn't like the line "But we kept our faith within us to use in times of strife". God is there at all times to praise, worship, and enjoy, not just in times of need, although many only pray when disaster happens. Otherwise a great poem.
