This is very interesting and I enjoyed reading this format in three separate ways. I loved the fairytale feel and some marvellous alliteration makes this clever poem sing. Very entertaining.

Kindest of regards

Julie :-)

Wendy, this is really amazing! Every which way I read it, the meaning comes across clear, tho slightly different. Yet the overall mood remains the same. How long did this take to create? Is that why you've been away for so long? LOL! Seriously, good to see you again. :)

Thanks so much for the lovely review Phyllis. The actual crafting of the basic poems was not too time consuming. All the tweaking, shifting, second guessing, re-reading etc. took a great number of hours. I had trouble letting this one go. And thanks for noticing that I was AWOL. I went through a tough few month pity-party, thrown for and by myself and couldn't muster enough energy to write, read or review anything. I am mostly back now, working on reviewing for the first time yesterday and found that my emotions weren't getting in the way of my objectivity. I spent the last year writing like a fiend in order to avoid all the mess running through my head. I told myself that I was working through, when really all I was doing was avoiding. You can only fool yourself for so long, fortunately. So I'm easing back in and reviewing here and there. I was so overwhelmed at the number of poems and stories and scripts everyone wrote while I was off site that I couldn't even open the page. I plan to jump in there this weekend and I look forward to seeing your wonderful pieces in the pile. - Wendy
