Hi Bev, first let me say ...You scared the heck out of me with that skull in the photo, I was looking closer too since I couldn't figure out what it was - then bam! Skull!! Yikes!!
Ok exceptional writing again Bev. This is a powerhouse of a work, not only in the emotion, but also in the sense of the development within the story. Your characters dialogue and action was amazing and had me dying (oops not quite) to keep reading - then it ended.
Thanks for sharing and scaring me half to death.

What can I say? Another remarkable post - long overdue, my friend! The way you write the interaction between your characters is nothing short of professional, and absolutely spot on with regards to the atmosphere and the circumstances of the situation.
You put the reader right there - hearing, seeing, smelling.
I really do like Jana. You have perfectly encapsulated an aboriginal women in what is a white man's world. I get that she's straddling two cultures, and I just love how you show that.
Excellent post, as always.
Love and hugs,
Av

Thank you so much, Av. I wish I could write faster, I really do LOL. I'm thrilled you liked my chapter and, especially, your wonderful insights into Jana's character. What started out as a man's story has turned into Jana's story in some ways. But I think you know how how that happens. Appreciate your generosity and encouragement so much, Av. Hugs, Bev

Jana said so herself - she is difficult.
A gruesome scene you painted in this part,
Bev - an impressive write.
Have at it."?? a look??
nixed - a new word for me

Good chapter, Bev. I guess there are probably dozens of names for the moon in the Sioux language. Such a fascinating culture.
I enjoyed the further insights into your characters. Doctor Bloomquist is a bully, Jana is still a sensitive woman, and Rick - well, I think he's eventually going to make a move on Jana. Yea!! I want to be there for that. LOL!
Nice reading, girl. I folowed right along. Interesting activiities going on "Along the Jericho Road." Well done!

I caught a few chapters of this story before, and it remains interesting. The writing is good, flows nicely and the dialogue easy to follow. A solid piece of writing.

Oh Bev, this is absolutely brilliant! Every word of it! I swear it was like a fine banquet, each morsel delicious on its own, but put together with the next, ambrosia. This chapter is the best of all I've seen I think. Ten stars at least, my friend.
