Your author notes are superb-you have great artwork and a good flow with your poem-I have heard of people writing their own orbituary and that is alright-I like the structure and calmness of your write and how you exit--great job.

Absolutely beautiful! I've never read a eulogy with more dignity, integrity and substance. Even Yeats. I read it aloud and it is perfect. I love the couplet.

cvcopac, I am truly humbled by such an exceptional review. thank you ever so much. I have worked in the deathservice industry on and off for many years and oft I wrtite eulogies for deceased loved ones. I ask the families to tell me about their loved one and if he or she could write of herself what would it be? I always thought that one should at least attempt to wrtie a farewell to all their loved ones, things they wantedc them to know and keep it tucked safely aways until the time comes that visits us all.. again thank you ever so much... jls..I am so honored.

I submitted a poem recently; "How to Behave at Funerals but it does not boast the beauty of acceptance that whispers through your piece. The grace of acceptance glows through every verse as you bid your loved ones farewell and command them not to be overwhelmed by the event. You are ready to leave your family and friends and join the wider embrace of nature. All this reflects the full life you must have led and your acceptance of the inevitable end we all must face. So it is a fine and complete poem, rich in imagery and cadence.Finally it is indeed a eulogy. - EKim

This was very good reading material, because words were well chosen and weaved together to make a beautiful piece. I really liked this one, and your font choice, and colors as well as picture, were all so appealing for the eyes.
