Thank you so much for your kind review. I do have this put to music and should figure out how to share that too. This song really helped me grieve my fathers passing.

this is beautiful, katie, a great job writing this poem about the way a father wants his daughter to call when she gets there and then it's turned around where she's telling him goodbye.

I think we all have the same feeling or request when a loved one passes , Wouldn't it be great to know they were there safe and sound and happy.

Your author notes are superb-you have good imagery and a good flow with your poem-you rhyme well and I am sorry about the loss of your Father-you keep the readers attention from the first line as you take me on a journey and I love where you write(He trust her to God's care) a powerful statement for your Father must have been a God fearing man and believe in Him--well penned--great job.

Chita, thank you so much for your kind review. It was a shock whe he got sick and passed but we all knew where he was going and that made it easier.
