-Good choice of artwork.
-The syllable count is good, along with the topic.
-Effective imagery and rhyme.
-I like the description of the road trip,
but the temperature was way too hot.
-It is a timely poem for a lot of the country.
-I like the question at the end, too.
-Good luck in the contest.

Hi Friend, I do dislike getting cold! But, the heat index today is projected to be 109 degrees Fahrenheit, In Gainesville, FL where we are heading. taking a load of household goods to our daughter as we are preparing for a big downsizing with a new home we nearly finished building. I will think about a nice winter day In Australia land as I drive into the heat vortex. 😅😅

I've had my share of these hot road trips with no a/c. My first and second car had black pleather interior and no a/c. Poor me! Sending you my best today as always and my very best for the Cinquain poetry contest,

Ah, the summer sizzle indeed. I do wish we could have the brightness and colour without the searing heat and clutching humidity. I enjoyed your fun little piece in the form of a Cinquain :-)
