I'm no expert, but I don't believe six stars are only theirs to dispense. I liked your work a lot. Seeing no errors (that I could tell), why shouldn't it get six? Me, I'd have 'em in a full-body hug by now. Oh, yeah.

I really enjoyed the story and the fast-paced narrative that held my attention throughout. The two players, Adrian and Beth hit it off well and Beth appears to be too wise for her just-out-of-teen age!, and Adrian a very observant guy!
You clearly detailed the connection between the two characters, drawing the reader into the immediate situation. A good 'sigh-of-relief ending to a tense situation. Thanks for sharing!

Thank you so much for giving me a great read this morning. No 'skipping' here.... You kept me gripped til the very end. Packed with action, intrigue, emotion, sentiment and a little humour, it actually captivated me... in fact, I had a prolonged 'moment' with my loaded breakfast spoon in mid air, because my attention was firmly on the back lights of Beth's careening vehicle!
