Wow... This was a change of pace! I am torn here. Did he die before her and that's why he couldn't stay? Is he in her dream?! A messenger from God??? So many ways to interpret this! I want more of the story! Smile)---

Good morning, Karenina... I was working on the "round up" and thoughts of Mike were strolling around my brain and suddenly I wrote this story. I'd say he was that one "love" and he watched over her even though he could never stay. A messenger from God... I like that choice. A true love for a lifetime and then forever. Smiles, Carol

I almost never cry when the main character is dying with someone by her side but this had me in tears! That was sad but it had such a beautiful and soft ending! Keep up the good work!

What a beautiful sad, but happy love story. I enjoyed it. To know this is your last of everything you do going forward is gut wrenching. The hope that her long lost love will be with her in eternity is the hope she needs to move on. Thank you for sharing.
