That's what most people would expect from a farming community, they want the farming news, they're not interested in politics! LOL. I wonder if by not hearing that breaking news, they will somehow be getting themselves involved in it. Just thinking!! lol. I enjoyed reading this natural, everyday scene. Well done. :)) Sandra xx

Very good chapter and very well written too. I thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere of the old diner, the farmer's talk, the waitress, Cody's choice for the special, and the end! The man changing canals for the farmer's journal while Cody wanted to follow the kidnapping of a senator. Typical!
