Wow, this story left me mesmerized. I just love your writing style, it's so magical. I love everything about this story, from the interaction between Miss Faye through to the final revelation which I loved! This story is just perfect, especially for people like me who love fairytales.

I love fairy tales and you have done an excellent job with this one. It would be wonderful to have brownies, and fairies, and trolls keeping and eye on things so that the little charges were safe in their beds.

Hello Yvette. You'll be happy to hear that I got this one figured out on the first read. (@_@)
That's an interesting babysitting crew you've written about. I like the way that you progress through the story and you revealed information as you went, rather than just provide all descriptions and telling the story. It makes it more fun to read that way. Z (*_*)

I knew before I started reading this wouldn't be just another story. The trick was looking for the early, they didn't disappoint, but I much prefer friendly, troll, considerate brownies, and compassionate and angelic fairies. Well done, a great entry in this contest Yvette, excellent job, blessings, Roy

I sense more stories of the Fey. () This is very good well written and presented. () The boys would never know how right they were. () The Faerie and her minions protecting them.

I think this is a good entry for the "This Sentence Starts the Story" contest.
This story starts as a simple babysitting story, but turns to fantasy.
Well done and I wish you lots of luck with the contest.

So the boys weren't wrong. I don't think they need to know that, though. However, meeting a troll who likes cats would be awesome. This is a terrific story with a great twist with Faye being a fairy. Certainly held my interest.

This was quite a creative story. I have twin boys so your dialogue was
very realistic. I was surprised by the ending. I hope you win the contest
with this wonderful story.

Hello dear Yvette!
Absolutely stellar, and sadly, I am out of sixes.
But there is so much to admire and appreciate about your exceptionally well-crafted tale. First of all, I am certain that I am a relative of Miss Faye. After all, I have perfected the "Kenel-glare" and the raising of the eyebrows = nearly forty years of teaching! Loved Miss Faye's "Mary Poppinsesque" attitude!
The story includes realistic dialogue - like it's as if you have a working knowledge of kids' speak... :)
And of course, who could NOT love a troll allergic to cats...and a Maine coon cat as well?
This is just the story I needed to read having survived my 3300.00 bridge appointment this morning during which I didn't cough or sneeze, but I did proffer the "Kenel-glare" when the receptionist called me "honey" and then "dear." :)
This delightful tale needs to be published!
Thank you!

You know, I think the 'terms of annoyment' didn't get to me so much when I was younger.... being from the South, folks tend to use them more .... but NOW? Can I scream? Now, they seem like a pat on the head and like I'm being talked down to!!! Oh, and that's another thing that's kinda changed with the age: the being able to bite my tongue as much as I used to. Don't know if the tongue got tired of being bitten and told the brain, but I find myself telling people what I really think about things rather than sugar coat it.... The combination of these two things is sometimes 'not a good thing'..... aaaaaaand I'll just let it go at that! ;) LOL! :) :) I hope everything went well and that the insane pricetag (isn't it amazing how much things cost these days? Ugh!) was worth it to have your smile back and your mouth comfortable... both VERY IMPORTANT things!! ;) Take care up there! ;) Yvette
