Each anecdote in your beautiful memorial touched me. I was amused and amazed at your sibling dynamics. Truly a marvelous way to honor your little brother. As I read each one, I became a spectator seated in the front row watching and listening as if it were happening now. Well crafted and engaging. R.I.P. to your special loved one.

I am so sorry for the loss of your younger brother. I admired all of your nostalgic stories from your childhood together. Thanks for the photograph to reinforce the fish stories as well. May Jerry rest in peace- Joan

Thank you for sharing this memory of your brother and for keeping bright his cheerful adventures. Maybe one day you will write a book about thatš??? I am pretty sure that this will be a very interesting read.

Hi Pat,
I really liked reading about your brother and the antics you got up to.
Memories are wonderful to look back on. Even the ones when you got a good thrashing are funny when you look back. I love reading about other peoples childhoods. This was a pleasure to read.
Well done.

This is a great tribute to your brother and your family Patricia. It sounds you had lots of fun outdoors playing on the farm and it must have been a great experience, love Dolly x

This is a lovely retrospective of times past, filled with fond memories of your brother. The detail, like emptying the catfish into the cattle watering tank is fascinating, and it recalls an innocent time. I enjoyed reading it a lot. {thumbs up}.
Here are a few minor points:
Jerry said, "let's go fishing". 'd capitalize "let's" as "Let's go fishing" is a sentence in its own right. This is valid grammar, even though the "Let's" follows the comma of the speech tag.
We sat out to walk to our grandparents home -- Spag? I think you've mis-typed "We set out..."
I am pretty sure had we taken the 20 or so fish home we would never been punished for not obeying. -- Ha, ha! Nice detail {smiles}.
Thank you for brightening my day.
All the best,
Alex.

I'm sorry your little brother has preceded you into Heaven Patricia, but I'm sure he'll be waiting to greet you when you finally meet up for the final time. I enjoyed your reminiscing about you and your brother's adventures when gowing up, well done, blessings, Roy

Thanks for sharing your memories of your little brother. So this is not the one who burned down the barn. Poor Patricia - you got into a lot of scrapes with brothers!

No, he is not the one who burned the barn with me. That was my twin brother. Brothers were my only playmates so there were a lot of scrapes with the brothers.
