Yay! You did it. Hat trick for sure. You are right about the horror of this one. The photo and background make the entire thing more sterile and impersonal. I would give this a six star rating if I had one. Your use of the phrase "chill the bones," should put this one over the top.
I'll be watching.

Ha! I should know better than to argue, but I don't think so, Debbie. Thanks so much :) Cheers, Craig

I would have to say that it really just does not get more horrific than that, CD! ;) :) Thanx for sharing, sir, and best of luck in the contest! ;) :)

it would be a horror story to be locked up, wouldn't it? I cannot imagine someone wanting to do wrong and not think about the consequences. Prison ministry is quite effective they say.

Thanks for reviewing, Rosemary. Much appreciated. Cheers, Craig

Indeed a horror; of the most worldly and ordinary sort and, alas, not the sort one can comfort oneself "it's all just fantasy". Very well done! Good luck in the contest. (That line is cheating but hey - why should FS insist I have more words in a review than the piece itself has?)

Howdy Mr. CD
Those 6 words would put horror in the hardest of hearts.
I liked the picture you picked out to demonstrate the horror stricken man.

I love the approach that you took for the subject matter. This truly is the worst kind of horror. You even managed to wrap it in a cleverly worded rhyming package. I like the powerful message conveyed in this well written work. Well done!
