I read it several times. Kept getting stuck on this:
"Well, I'm going to hire a new secretary. I was the worst."
She hired herself? And is glad to be rid of herself?
I don't understand the dog. Is he a magical being too?
Why is the cat now on mittlefinga's desk?

Let's see: O'laydee is now Mittlefinga, the cat is O'laydee, Mittlefinga is the cat, deceased. Olaydee (cat) leaves to do mischief elasewhere, Mittlefinger calls for a young, male secretary to probably switch into from his middle-aged frame, and another enchanted being appears to make it all possible.
I may just include this in the notes.
What dog?

I thought you mentioned a dog who grabbed the cat. Guess I was more confused than I thought. :)

My head hurts even after rereading. The old lady became the old man and the secretary became the cat? Who's the secretary? Smart move to have the cat reappear as you will probably hear some objections to cat throttling.

I thought about that. My son has a cat and dislikes harmful thoughts about them.

You got five readings from me, and I am still not certain what exactly happened there. I'd make that cost more, except for the fact that the writing itself was clearly fun and clever enough weather multiple readings, and so in the end, like a good nonsense poem, whether or not I understood had very little bearing on whether or not I enjoyed.
Well done!

Thanks, Dan. This wouldn't be for everyone (or anyone, perhaps). Appreciate your response.
