Good job, Chrissy, with your cinquain. It is in good form. I like the picture and the message. Your words speak to the excitement many feel when watching their favorite teams. Thanks for sharing. Best wishes. Jan

Hey Christine, good to see a post from you again. :) Football! I am not a fan but that's mainly because it's a far too complicated game for my liking.

That said a terrific Cinquain and I wish you much luck with the Contest Committee.

Gloria

Hi Dolly, Thank you for your review and yes Football does produce many a racing heart especially when it is a close game. My husbands team the magpies play my team the tigers next week so it will be a good tussle I think. I may have to take double my BP pills LOL. Many Cheers Christine

If you look at the millions who watch, I imagine extremely high heart rates during close games! I enjoyed learning a new word; tachycardia. Very nice job with the cinquain format. Hugh

Hi Hugh thanks for your review and there will be plenty with tachycardia in Australia in the next few weeks as our footy finals are in full swing. Cheers Christine

Hi Chrissy, a well written Cinquain, true to form. Not easy to tell a story with so few words and these forms can be quite difficult. You have made a good job with this -
'exciting tachycardia' - clever, well place line. Good luck in the contest. Warm regards Dorothy x

Hi Dorothy, Thanks for ypur review and I hope it meets cinquain requirement. yes exciting tachycardia I think is pretty catching during the finals and we are nearly ready for the grandfinal in Australia. Next week will be a good game bt
etween my team ( tigers) and my husbands ( magpies) team so both our hearts will be racing . My team won the grandfinal last year so I am hoping we can get in again. Cheers for your review xx Christine

Whether you are describing soccer (as you appear to be here) or American football, what you say is true about the game itself and watching it. I like how you employed that $50 word.

tachycardia? Seems like a big word for a short poem but it may be an understatement. Sport fans really get worked up. :-) Cute poem. Well done.

A very well-written Cinquain poem about football and excitement for each time a goal is scored the spectators go wild when the score is in favor of their favorite team.

A great CinQuain! I love college football... especially the Arkansas Razorbacks! You developed this well and used good artwork. I would add that i wished you had given a definition of the word 'tachycardia' in the author's notes. I'm assuming it has something to do with the heart since it includes the word 'cardia'. Great verse.

Ho Sugarray77 Thanks for reading and yes I will add the definition of tachycardia it mean a fast heart rate which happens when the game is exciting. I am watching semifinal here in Australia between two Aussie teams playing Aussie rules for a spot in the finals. One of the teams is my husbands favourite and it is a close game and his heart is racing with excitment LOL .Cheers Christine
