-Interesting image and good presentation.
-Syllable count is good.
-Effective use of personification in line one with the moon winking.
-That is a sign that leads to
the last line, which is very satori like.
-Good entry; good luck in the contest.

Hello, Michael,
A beautiful tiny poem about the moon. I am quite fond of short poems, as you know. Nice imagery and haiga. You always do a great job with them. Well done.

Wow--this is creative. Compelling. Interesting. Well presented. A strong entry for the contest. True to form. Thanks for the interesting notes too. Fine consonance of S.
Mikey--I'm wondering why I never hear from you in reviews or replies...? Are you upset with me for some reason? Just wondering...as I can't imagine why.
Warmly, rd

You are showing off your poetic prowess with this contest entry. I can't believe that you won't win this contest hands down, but just in case, I'll wish you good luck.

Appreciate author notes. You got a couple big words here that look spectacular. Harbingers and sojourns. Am curious, will have to go to Wiktionary to read all the definitions of these rare words which has mesmerized BOO's interest. the lune's syllable pattern is 5/3/5. The middle line is restricted to three syllables, it is the shortest line of the three. This gives the lune a curve on the ends similar to a crescent moon. yep,I get it now. Poem resembles a crescent moon because of the short 3 syllables in middle. The picture reflects the perfect image to represent this short haiku form. Looks like a real winner to BOO. The two fancy words give it an extra boost of word power. Impressive. Collect your doubloon Lion King. Keep them pistols lubed.
