Hi Wendy. Your Lynn Hunt drawings and your poems pair so perfectly together. I can just see a child taking great delight in looking at these drawings and hearing these poems being read to them.
I love that you have Rami Rawat "running fast". We would run fast too if we had to get past all of those animals unharmed. It's cute that you have the antelope and panther wishing that they could run as fast. Your poem teaches children about what is in other parts of the world ... different animals and people with different cultures (turbans in India and different names).
This is a very well written poem with vivid imagery created for your reader. Good alliterations. Another great addition to your book, Wendy! ~ ~ Connie

Thanks so much for the praise, Connie. I love these kids and Lynn and I are having great fun collaborating on these. Lynn is the owner of one of the other Roanoke B & B's and we decided to pair up and give this a go. I will pass on your encouraging words. - Wendy

Thanks for more input on my book. I wrote the whole thing before I went back to research if all those critters could be found in India. Luckily, I didn't have to change any. I, and they, appreciate the notice. - Wendy
