This is perfectly done in flow and rhyme in every way possible . I love the story of the Iditarod and the pressure and trials of the race on the dogs and the runners.

Thank you Barb! I will feel better about it when I see a review from Kim (Dovey) the Alaskan Queen. There was so much more I wanted to put in, but considering a kids attention span, decided less is more. Maybe Author's notes at the back of the book? - Wendy

You could add more stanzas as a story, each one exciting, kids love the build up
