I thought Wally was just history but you have brought him to

You are welcome. Saw the Doc yesterday and I am doing fine - cancer is not really been progressing for about the last 6 months.

I lovvvve, and so will the kids whose parents buy your book when it's published. You write really well for kids, and that's not as easy to do as folks think. I love this stanza especially:

"I love this pretty scenery
And all the lovely greenery
The clouds, they look so creamery.
I think we're going east."

Thank you for saying it's now easy to write for children. I think many people think I'm a silly old woman writing silly little stories. So far, Wally does seem to flow out of me. I don't do much work on him. If it doesn't come, I leave it.

Oh, then I'm glad you mentioned I thought you and I had laughed haha because fanstory wants you to write pages on the 17 syl. haiku, and we've joked about how to fool fanstory. Actually, I discussed it in joke-form with lots of people I can think of now.
Maybe not you, b/c you don't write haiku (I could be wrong) but with other people. I WANT to respond but the stars have said it's excellent and
you've said the things we say, but fanstory sends it
back BLANK and wants you to have another go at it.
Let me know if you know what I'm talking about, but that's what I meant--I've said it all, but now I have to do 'words' to make fanstory happy. Marcia

Oh, yes, I understand now. If you don't give a long enough review, it knocks you back for more. With a couple of friends, I've typed blah, blah, blah to fill it up. Some people write one sentence reviews. I don't know how they do it. 8-)
