Your tone is excellent here, Carolyn in illustrating the joy and sorrow of all of creation's beauty.
The rose metaphor is always effective in delivering the insight that life is both joy and suffering--the thorns indicative of that.
Beautiful job all around and excellent rise to the picture this prompt. :))

I am so happy you enjoyed the poem, and that it
had qualities that made it worthwhile. The cadence,
iambic tetrameter, as well as timing and tempo could
quite possibly be accidental. LOL But the rhythmic balance,
yeah, I will claim that.

This is a nicely rhymed poem
for the picture challenge
The rose is indeed a special flower

As usual, a great interpretation of the artwork! I was wondering if Rose was a person, or a personification, but it became apparent that she was a she. Believing in God is the easy part, now trusting Him, (relying on Him)
is a little tougher. It gets better as we stop trying to figure it all out,
just like you said.
