Wow, I think this is a lovely haiku which paints a vivid breathtaking picture of a sunset. I like your third line-satori "summer bleeds out". Great job on this. I wish you the best in the contest.

Thank you so much, Anabella. I had a wonderful friend with that name. None the less, I love that you liked the satori line as it was a hard one to get to.

THIS is a great haiku! In a typical Japanese haiku, I don't think they would have all the alliteration that we like sooo much, which is sad to me, because I think it adds to the effect, but since they aren't asking for traditional haiku, I think you'll be fine! This is great!

THIS is a great haiku! In a typical Japanese haiku, I don't think they would have all the alliteration that we like sooo much, which is sad to me, because I think it adds to the effect, but since they aren't asking for traditional haiku, I think you'll be fine! This is great!

Thank you, Robyn, and I really did not think about the alliteration. It's just the way it came out - and write a bunch of haiku. Yet, I see your point.
