G'day Carolyn. You are such a diverse talent mate. This is a different form for me but it is easily read and has the message for life in it. Indeed God does not lie! Great work and cheers Fez

Some very positive advice in this very well written free verse, which talks to me Carolyn, some of these things I have not done today, becoming too busy, you'd think I'd know better, He has blessed me far more than I deserve! Thank you for this excellent work, you have been used to remind me who is the giver of all wisdom, and longs for our attention before anything else, well done, an eloquent and gentle warning, blessings, my friend Roy.

I always think of how the Lord said... "give us this day, our daily bread" which is a clear indication we ought to pray every day. He is so good and it is so easy to forget. He deserves all we can give. This was a reminder to myself as well.
Thank you Roy,
Love, Carolyn

Hey,
You are so right. We get, or at least I'm guilty of getting so busy going about the daily routine that I forget to stop and say 'Thank You' for the blessings He puts my our path.
Beautiful poem with a calming photo of serenity. I'd love to be there right now walking along the beach.
Nicely penned and presented, my friend.
Cheers & Blessings

Hi Carolyn,
This is another very nice poem. I really like what you said in it. We do need to stop
and fold our hands in prayer to God. You sure are going to town with writing poetry. When I write a poem I always wait for a few days before I post another one.

Thanks Kat,
I somehow thought you might enjoy this one. So glad you did.
I posted 2 each day to get my rating back. Now I must work on short storied as well. Not sure how all this works but it takes some brain power. So I make sure I pray...

I always wait until the money for a poem has expired. In the meantime I review to make more money to post the next poem. Otherwise the moola goes too fast. LOL

Prayer is certainly powerful and restoring, no matter what form it takes. Sometimes I find it in a wordless admiration of the infinite beauties of creation, sometimes, though less often, in an intimate soliloquy to my Maker.

Prayer is so much an attitude of the heart. I too love nature and a simple contrite thank you is sometimes all I can humbly say.
Thank you so very much for reading and enjoying this one.
