What a beautiful poem, and I love the title, Butterflies and Bluebirds. My mom always said that a white buterfly is a spirit sent from God for someone. Last summer one wouldn't leave my daughter alone, just kept circling her for a long while. I love your author notes. You expressed God's love for all, and I pray that she believed. Thanks so much for posting. . .Sharon

Thank you Sharon, it is difficult to write an appropriate poem for someone whose spiritual relationship is unknown, as we must all be 'right' with God. I appreciate your insightful review very much.

What a wonderful sentiment given to someone so dear. The image created by the wording used is that of peace & love. Thank you for sharing something personal as well as heartfelt to those who knew 'Gungalo' & those who will get to know her through this poem & beyond. ;) CC

This is a lovely tribute and prayer for Pam and I'm
sure she is "receiving healing balm" of Christ's love.
Beautiful imagery and lovely rhyme and meter.
You honor her with your words. Thanks

If the nature of the afterlife
is such that men are allowed to see
a view of the world they left behind
then Pam is resting, joyfully
bathed in the light
of memorials like these :-)
Lovely remembrance and sharing what she meant to you :-)

This is a beautiful poem written for Gungalo (Pam). I did not get a chance to know her, but what I do know is that she was very well loved and will greatly missed. Thank you so much for sharing. Alana

Pam was so much more than some of the poetry she wrote. Her versatility in form was unmatched. She taught me a lot.

Thank you dear Maureen,
She, like you, encouraged me to write better today than I did yesterday. Her use of many forms inspired me. She and you took me under your wing and became the first of my fans.
I am glad you enjoyed this poem, have a good weekend,
Love, Carolyn

Pam was a good listener and her reviews show her concern for the rest of us. She alway gave her opinions free of bias to help us to fulfill our dreams. For those sensual she continually was a source of its design.

Thank you Alan,
Her sensitivity to life and nature broke the sensual mold at times. I loved that, as well as her ability to 'tell it like it is', when dealing with delight, the feelings of the physical.
She was the mistress of poetic form, and taught me so much.

Carolyn, The picture you are chosen surely shows the reverence and elegance of your idea and in many ways complements your poem very much. Your poem's grace and movement and its tempo and meter shows a rhythm that flows so smoothly throughout your poem and a rhyming scheme that helps which is neither force nor labored and indeed helps your rhythm flow smoother. Pam will surely be missed. After writing her many of her song sheet when into writing romantic poetry And soon developed a skill that none has ever matched. Thank you so much for sharing and posting this for everyone to read and made the Lord be with you always am sure it is with her.
