Oh to be able to realise this at difficult times in our lives and fully believe - sometimes He is hard to connect with , yet 'He remains constant'.

He speaks to us through His Word and we speak to Him through prayer. When I have a hard time praying, then I read the Bible. Then, hey, I am back to 'connecting' again. I love how you wrote your review. :-) Carolyn

A wonderful short work, this 5-7-5. Says so much with so little. The Master of the universe would agree with you. But yet He does not change! Thank Him for that! Well done, Carolyn, you have lifted Him up. Blessings, Roy.

Dear Carolyn - spot on syllables with a strong message of faith. Nicely penned and a reminder no matter the storms there is always a calm in your "constant".
Thanks for sharing it.

Hi Carolyn,
Your poem is filled with such sweet truth. How true your words are. God is always near and ready to help each one of us. Although when we drift away from Him we sometimes think He has left us.

So far today I'm better except for a dull headache and sore back, neck, and legs. I've been on the computer since five this morning. Time to stretch out in my recliner because sitting so long makes my legs swell. Thanks for caring, my friend. Kat

Carolyn... Words so true!
I've drifted away many times and done things I am not proud of. Yet I know he is always there. Forgiving! Thankfully He has given me a pillar of strength in my better half!
My mind drifts and maybe I take it to lightly and I know I should not.
He will never change
We may drift away from Him
He remains constant
Beautiful words.... John

John, what wonderful comments. I find that as I 'mature' in age and hopefully a little wiser, that thinking and thanking God is sweeter each day. Love, Carolyn

This is an apt and fitting poem written by the author in this piece of writing. He will indeed never change and God certainly is the rock that we can cling to in good times as well as bad.

That is in the one think that is perfect in each of our lives; God's love; always there, always forgiving, and never judging. Thanks for sharing.
