Hi Carolyn,
Ah yes, a woman in love, is definitely adrift in time, as she can't get her lover out of her mind.
You have captured it well in this write, not saying too much, not saying too little, but saying what is important!
My fave line is ... "completely thine" ... very nice!
Well done, Carolyn!
Connie :)

Are you in love? This speaks from the heart of a woman in love. Simply beautiful and you have done poetic justice in a very expressive manner.
Keep well
Blessings,
Sylvia

I am so in love, with my husband of many years, LOL I am glad you enjoyed Lost in you. I decided to use a picture of a young lady instead of my own. But the heart feels the same. I hope your health is improving, I am well, love, Carolyn

Hi Carolyn,
Your love poem is lovely. I enjoyed the read very much. If I don't get to review all you work, forgive me. I don't get on the computer as much anymore. Daily headaches plus aches and pains keep me away.

Kat, I am so very sorry you have headaches, I can relate, don't worry about reviewing everything and thank you for this one. I know it is hard to stay caught up. Please take care of yourself, :-) Carolyn

The written format is not only interesting but it also makes your poem very provocative. In a way you dotted lines give the reader a chance to think. I enjoyed your introspective ideals on love.

Thanks Alex, I appreciate your fine review of Lost in you, I'm happy you liked it and the presentation. Where is Ritchie and Karen cookie333? I miss them and thought you might know. :-) Carolyn

You are so sincerely welcome Carolyn. Well Ritchie went on vacation in China for the Chinese new year. And I don't know if Karen is.

Wow... this is the fourth six I've given out today. This may just be the best of the sixes I have awarded today. the thoughts stand out in a richly worded poetic verve. then your formatting was so creative and just added to the read greatly. this was all that and a side order of fries... John

Well, Carolyn this is different, but quite lovely. The picture really fits the message. You have captured what this young lady could very well be thinking. Good job. Miss sally

this is very well written, carolyhn, you did an excellent job writing this short poem about the thoughts of love that fill the mind of the one who embraces love. I enjoyed reading it

Nice use of the long "I" sounds in "fine", "sublime", and "thine" to slow down the tempo of the poem and allow the reader to sit and stay awhile with the poem. Combined with the line "Race my heart" we get a nice contrast between the way love can make our pulse beat so fast, while also giving us the illusion that things are moving in slow motion at times. Thank you for sharing.

Is that Cheryl Ladd? I used to love watching Charlie's Angel as a kid.
Now I like watching all the angels ;)
Your poem reminds me of all those flashes of moment and time that mean so much and are yet impossible to express.

The pensive look of a woman in love have always been magical for me. It sends me to the world of pure romance and it complements well the message of your poem. Love has that power to keep us adrift in time as you have emphasized in this poem. Thanks for sharing.
