This is a nice sedoka poem for the contest about wolves attacking flocks of sheep and shepherds protecting their flocks. Has the correct number of syllables for each line.

An intense story of survival in the animal kingdom as the wolves need to eat and the shepherds need to guard their livelihood
good syllable count for this form
good alliteration in little lamb
a most powerful way to conclude with the body count on each side

A great topic for your poem, except I count six syllables in the opening line of your second stanza. I would recommend changing this line to comply with the contest requirements. Other than that, I enjoyed this write, particularly the description of the wolves in the first stanza, and the following shepherds. Good luck in the contest.
Blessings,
~ J.
