The "kicker" there, in the last part, is excellent. Found looking for a better, or other reason, for a bank to close. I came up with, to... bad loans, poverty, fled manager, "closed when" called by higher service. Anyway, I'm looking for a more interesting word than "austerity." Sorry to quibble so much over one word. Wouldn't have bothered to critique it, if I had not liked it in the first.
