"Flags fly Fourty" words seems beautiful together..but number of syllables is not accurate.. your first row contains 6 syllables and second row contains 8 syllables.

Thank you for the review, I fixed the second row, now has seven syllables. The first line reads 'Flags fly Fourth' (not Fourty) which should keep that at 5 syllables. I appreciate your careful edits. :-) Carolyn

Well deserved six star reward for your poem, artwork and author notes Carolyn. I to have made some good friends on this site (I think you well know you're one) nd if not for our freedom and democracy, we would never have had that opportunity. I am grateful to our forefathers and their insightfulness, our military for keeping us safe and free to he able to walk our streets and I pray our current day politicians have one-tenth the strength they had to continue in the footpath they began.

i like the directness of the poem, no big words, just plain message about how proud the author is being an American, proud of the legacy of a great country, that is peace and liberty. You followed the rules for writing a 5-7-5 poetry. God bless.
