"Quintin's face is red, and he blinks quickly to keep back the tears. I place the camera in his hands and say, "Watch it as many times as you need to." Pressed against his shoulder, together we marvel as frame after frame reveals a perfect blue orb that seems to kiss the top of my brother's head every time it breaks the surface."
Wow, what a very touching work you painted here. It lingered in my mind for a while. The lines above sent chill bumps up my arms. Very moving. It is amazing how the ones we love who have moved on remain with us. You so captured that in your work. Good job. Nice flow. Believeable dialogue. I enjoyed. Thank you so much for sharing. Recommended read.

This such a great story. Grandpa dies and Quint needs to put grandpa's medal around his grandfathers neck. In Quints mind, this has been his good luck charm. His sister Aggie tries to convince him that he is that good of a swimmer. You tell this story very well with great dialogue between brother and sister, I love the ending. This is so well written and a pleasure to read. Thank you,,,,,,,Jim

Brilliant write.
Heartwarming and at the same time fascinating to want to believe that it is a non-fiction story, that if not I, then someone else witnessed a love that could live through different dimensions.

Hi, Spiritual Echo. Though it is a work of fiction, it's based on my own and others' experiences of contact from beyond the grave.
I sure appreciate your wonderfully generous and supportive review! Thanks so much for reading.

This is so good! You've got me believing in the little blue orb! I don't see anything I would change.
I had a vision of my mom when she passed. I don't tell a lot of people that. I think the afterlife is full of lovely miracles.
This life is blessed to have lovely stories like this one. :-)

I really like the way this story progresses through sharp realistic dialogue between a brother and sister. It has the kind of ending that makes you glad you read the story. The only part that somehow didn't ring true for me was the following lines: "You wake me up from the best sleep I've had in a week to tell me you're having second thoughts about a promise you made to Grampa T?!"
She seems to be taking the whole thing a little to lightly. there seems to be a lack of any kind of mourning for Grandpa's demise.

Quint and Aggie went through the process of accepting their Grandpa's death and then realizing he was going to be watching over them. Excellent dialogue that expressed the emotions of both Quint and Aggie. I liked how Aggie made the determination that the blue dot in the photos was indeed their Grandpa. Very well written.
