The art work is stunning and just right for these words.
Our human breath may stop but the ever lasting breathing and
smiling in heaven will never stop.

Jimi,
This is an excellent free-verse poem with distinct lines that don't bleed into one another but build the poem. I enjoyed reading this post and couldn't find anything to criticize.

I am so sorry but I find this to be something that may have been said at one time but would never be reasonable to use now. It is romantic

It really surprised me and it is very creative.
makes you think that just maybe you need to live a little more than you currently are.
Do little things that you claim yoou didn't have time for. Be with people you really want to spend time with and say farewell to the toxic ones.

So glad I've got some sixes again.
Wonderful piece of poetry.
Very emotional.
Love this verse:
If perchance, you remember me fondly as your friend,
then I have lived in rich fullness that words cannot measure
And to my loved ones, let peace quieten your heavy heart
For in doing so, faith hearkens joy that love has built
Blessings Jade

Bestow on me not the scented vibrant roses, nor any flower torn from its vital flesh to bloom for you For my hands cannot caress their delicate beauty My hidden eyes cannot see their cloaks of splendor
Wow! This is some of the best poetry I've seen in some time. Your verbiage is top notch and topic surreal and powerful at the same time.
The stanza above reminds me of my favorite aunt. When she passed, one of her poems was on the bulletin( for lack of better word) they handed out at her funeral. It was titled, Don't Buy Me Flowers. I feel the same way.
You have me thinking about writing my own eulogy now. I kinda did awhile back. I'll find it and pm you. Do you mind?

Beautifully presented poem, colors are glorious; place me softly in the bowels of mortal cycle's ride - love that description. Do not grieve for me for I am not dead, merely sleeping. I think you wrote this so eloquently. There are no answers for grief. The Chinese sit by the grave and let firecrackers off and have a banquet for the deceased! What a send off. Me? Cremate me as you will, for I will lay still. Place my ashes in an egg-timer so you can turn me over and I can continue to work after I have passed this mortal coil. LOL.

I must say that you have done a magnificent work here. It is sad but it speaks out with such a touching sentiment that the reader is totally captivated. Again sad, but it also whispers softly to the reader of a life so full of love and friendship. Thus, the sadness dissipates and is replaced by a joy that this person was so richly rewarded with happiness in life. Your style, flow and imagery are remarkable.
