There's an expression we in the south use when things don't go our way. I'll have to clean it up a bit, bein, I'm spouting off to a lady and all. But, Bull fudge and pigs testicles, the sound wouldn't play. Okay, I'm calm now. Thanks for the bedtime story. Night night. M

I see you humor is in full bloom. Very well written with a smooth flow of words making for an easy read. There is good imagery and descriptive scheme.

I laughed out loud. ZeeZee is brash, smart and funny. You tell her story as if all the misbehaving is normal stuff and everyone is doing it. Steeling the chef's recipe seems perfectly logical.
Returning the handbag after throwing up in it was classic. From ZeeZee's perspective, it makes sense.
Keep it up.

Hi rid.. I may steal your comments for a book review, if and when..But I will warn you first. Thank you for this most encouraging review. You are most generous. ZeeZee

I'd love to be quoted as a book reviewer. Of course, we'd have to fancy up my resume with some letters after my name. We could make them up, like Richard DuMont ZZF,etc. They wouldn't have to know it stood for Zee Zee fan.

the drone laying next to me should be lying
I love the description of the in crowd as those more interested in being seen at an eatery than eating
Infantasia, there is a writer on site who writes about that crap, pun intended - sounds about as sexy to me as maggots.
I enjoy reading and hearing the spoken word both. I like it when you add the audio component but still read along.

Sorry, I couldn't get the audio to work, probably my poor computer skills, rather then anything else. Shame, it would have been nice to listen to your voice. As usual, I loved your story the way that you don't give a shit and say it how you see it. Brilliantly written.

Thank you for reading Jo. I keep experimenting with the audio. You most likely do not have any sound drivers. (Like I am an expert - not) Thanks much. Zee

breath threaten to burn my scalp. * threatened
The crowd more concerned with being seen in an eatery than actually eating.
LOL sometimes I wonder if we live in the same chicago
LOL.... this would make a great cartoon...in a good way. I laughed at least five times.
grins... smooth and to the point...what a character.

Thank you so much msp. Hearing you tell me that you laughed is music to my ears. I will go back and fix the spaggie. I am most appreciative. Zee

You certainly can put words together, and your symbolism works great. The overall view of Zee Zee's personality comes across well.
To be frank, there's not enough here to warrant a story. This would make a good introduction. You've made a sandwich here, but somehow left the meat out. The term is infantalism not infantasia by the way.
I would like to see more of this rather unique character, but you need to take me somewhere and show me something.

Hi Charles. I googled and got Infantasia..so I must have missed on my search. With some enormous luck.. I will have short stories designed for entertainment in short reads. Each encapsulated with the same characters interacting with each other in different settings.
Thank you so much for your comments. I appreciate hearing your take on the short story.. Audio files are restricted in size. I deliberately kept this small for that reason.
Thanks Zee

"If one is to dish the dirt - one tends to get dirty," I guess we are all lurking in fertilizer. I'm curious about your publishing aspirations and why you feel dubious about your postings. If I may be so bold as to ask, do you have a favorite author or genre?

I enjoy reading Robert B Parker's character Spenser. Dialogue driven, spending more time on Spenser's emotions and attitude than on description of people and places.
I prefer to write comedy, but will write a dramatic story of Zee and her crew on occasion, they tend to be more violent in nature. Not for the faint of heart.
My character is street-wise broad turned Society Dame. An R-Rated Auntie Mame, if you will. My concern is if and when publisher ever agrees to take a look at my work .. if they will be turned away due to my having posted the stories here.
Trust me.. this has been a hard call for me. I need to find out the likability of the characters and my style .. without sabotaging my chances of being picked up by a publisher.
My characters are so liquid, they can live on for years. Their interaction is infinite in stories. I took time to think these issue out.
I've written entertaining stories as simple as Zee Zee running out of peanut butter. The topic is secondary. The interaction is paramount.
When the characters are real and lovable, the rest is easy. Geez, sorry, I seem to be rattling on. Thanks much. Zee

Thank you for being so obliging. There is just 'something' about you.

A true researcher, willing to get in there to get the grist for the story. Keeping a towel in the car is priceless.
A very resourceful woman who knows what she wants and goes after it. A good story, I have to go back and read from the beginning. - Thesis
