I have often heard that when we worry, we aren't placing our trust in God. So, when I find myself worrying I pause and pray. It seems to help with the worry. At least for me. Thank you for sharing this inspired poem with us.

This made me think back to all those moments growing up when I worried so much...the math test, the college entrance exams, regret for committed sins. I didn't realize it, but God got me through them all, and none were worth agonizing over.

Worry is a good theme for this time of year, when everyone seems rushed to finish details for the holidays. You chose great Scriptures. Personally, I'd prefer the song over strife, if I had a choice. LOL. Blessings. Carol

Short and sweet, Life in a nutshell. As we all know every year that we live the Lord has His plans good or in different we will know when it happens. Blessings to you this Holiday Season.

Roy,
This is a beautiful poem. It is so true we don't that we don't know what the future holds. It's a guessing game. We always have Jesus by our side.
Well done my friend

Above the beautiful rhyme and meter, this is deep wisdom that I personally needed to hear at the moment. So, on so many levels and for so may different reasons, thank you for taking this from your mind and your heart and putting onto paper and on to this site. You never know who's life you're going to touch. Thank you.

We can make ourselves sick with worry about what tomorrow will bring, but it is far easier to give it over to the Lord and believe that he will bring us into the light and deliver what is meant to be.

Well said, Roy. I enjoyed reading this philosophical verse that flows so effortlessly from your pen. The main point I took away is that no one knows what is in the future, but we can trust the Lord in all things. Thank you.

So many other things that people worry about, never happen. And the things that do happen were things that they ever thought to worry about. I prefer not to worry about anything. It's just too late in my life to even think about starting such a thing. Patricia.
