Congratulations to Keyanna! And you have every right to be a proud great-grandmother. Such a young champion! Is that her photo? She looks lovely - and strong. My second granddaughter (aged eight) has taken up soccer, and is pretty good for a newbie. She runs like the wind too. Lovely story. It;s nice to hear about your family, and I hope you have a lovely time with them.

Thanks Wendy...She's off to another tournament this weekend near the beach, but we'll be staying home because the other girls have things happening and Carissa has to work. This household is always on the go. Thanks for reading and enjoying!

You put me right in the picture when my granddaughter was a killer on the soccer field. Is that a picture of your granddaughter. She is beautiful as well. Mine, unfortunately, went to a school with no high school soccer and city league ended at eighth grade.

Yes, that's Keyanna. She simply loves it and can she run!!! She's on a traveling team that her mom pays for, but it's worth it to see how much enjoyment she gets. Thanks so much.

I never cared for basketball. I liked baseball and was a good pitcher, until a boy hit me in the eye with the baseball. I lost my love for the sport that day. My Momma the pitcher in the women's city softball team until she married. They won all their games. But three weeks wearing an eye patch, and the words "you almost lost that eye" killed my love for the sport. Karen

My fourth will be born in December, but I wonder if I will ever get the chance to meet the child. My grandson was with this girl for a short time, got her pregnant, and then they both decided to move on. It's a strange world and a poor child. But that's how many of them think these days. Nothing is precious to them.

Of course, we don't mind sharing about family. I actually enjoy reading. When my granddaughter, Arianna was that age, she excelled in cross country, track and basketball. I understand how proud you are of her.

Thanks, Barbara. At first when I heard she was competing with the older girls I thought she might be intimidated, but I sure was wrong on that note. She never backed down. Now, tomorrow night the little one plays basketball. Can't wait.

Thank you so much. Yes, I am a proud Nana for all of them. Tomorrow night, the youngest will play basketball. And my darling middle child asked if she could have one of my newly published books as her Christmas present. Now it can't get any better than that.
